A research team of Queens University has taken a page from history by inventing a roll-able display that is not like the usual display of the smart phone. The team has created the MagicScroll – a roll-able touch-screen pill designed to capture the seamless versatile screen realty of old scrolls in an exceedingly contemporary device.

Bendable-screen pioneer, Dr. Roel Vertegaal, is the technologist of this new technology, which is ready to push the boundaries of versatile device technology into fresh territory. The device is comprised of a high-resolution, 7.5” 2K resolution versatile, shows that it can be rolled and unrolled around a central, 3D-printed cylindrical body containing the device’s computerized inner-workings.

Two rotary wheels at either finish of the cylinder enable the user to scroll through info on the bit screen. once a user narrows in on a remarkable piece of content that they'd wish to examine additional deeply, the show is unrolled and performance as a pill show.
