Nemo’s Garden : The Future of Farming Is Under Water.

It is clear to us that the days are not so far from today when we will face the massive natural calamities. A question may peep in your mind about the problems that have been mentioned above. We have already seen the short production of foods that is a great problem for living creatures of the planet.

Beneath the lustrous blue waves of the Bay of Noli in Italian area, scientists and technologists set a special glass house that will help to grow vegetables like basil, tomatoes, herbs and different plants. It is actually a kind of a science experiment that is called Nemo’s Garden. Scientists actually want to observe the reaction of the plants under the water that only grow on land.

Growing plants underwater might sound strange, but it has plenty of advantages such as protection from pests and extreme weather, a regulated temperature and access to water as brine evaporates and re-condenses. There are many plants that grows under water without any odds.

Co-creator of the project , Luca Gamberini hopes that in the future, sooner or later in some unspecified time,  Nemo’s Garden will revolutionize the future of farming and encourage others to grow crops in places they are thought not to do able.

The primary advantage of underwater growing is that the stability of thermal conditions. The sea maintains the temperature while not an excellent distinction between day and night, and therefore the lack of pests and diseases, that reduces the employment of pesticides.

Don't forget to share this video with your friends who love the nature and always try to find out a newer way of cultivating plants.
