VertiGo-The Wall-Racing Robot, That Is Able To Drive On Walls And Floor.

This wall-racing Golem is in a position to drive on the ground still as on walls and transition between the 2 mechanically. It was created throughout a 1 year project at ETH Zürich as a collaboration with Disney Research Zürich by team VertiGo.

The Golem has 2 tilt-able propellers that offer thrust onto the wall, and 4 wheels. One combine of wheels is manageable, and every propeller has 2 degrees of freedom for adjusting the direction of thrust.

The fans then tilt mechanically to use the force air to stay the Golem ironed against the wall whereas moving forward.

The same method repeats once the Golem reaches another wall, the ceiling or the ground. There square measure eight individually-controlled actuators and a computer that enables the operator to regulate the propellers and drive the Golem.
